How to Detect Psychic Scams

What to look for when being scam by a so call psychic.

Emails, telephone calls or even face-to-face approach by a psychic claiming they can get rid of negative energy surrounding you, or remove a spell that was cast on you or your mate or reunite lovers or connecting soul mates. Also If a psychic or clairvoyant approach you and they tell you that you have bad luck or are cursed, be very cautious this is a scam.

Bad Luck, Negative Energy, Dark Cloud, Curses or Spells are the oldest and the most common of all the psychic scams.  It’s when a so-call psychic tells you that you are either cursed or have a dark presence around you.

The psychic scammer might give you a vague reading (also called a cold reading or general reading) to “prove” themselves they then tell you that you are curse and this is the reason bad things are happening to you. This could be believable when you are vulnerable and in a bad place. The psychic wants you to feel insecure, frightened and hopeless.  Once they feel you are hooked, they then tell you that they can cure you of the negativity, curses or reunite lovers. This requires a hefty fee one that is non-refundable. Be ready to pay in the hundreds or even the thousands to these psychic scammers. The psychic scammer usually only take the following form of payment:

Cash

Prepaid cards

Money transfers like Western Union or Moneygram

Direct wire transfers

The psychic scammers use these form of payments because it is harder to get a refund by disputing the charges.  Never give a psychic your credit card or other personal information. They can use it to charge for items that you did not authorize.

Try to verify if a psychic is genuine and not a scammer.  If you can find the psychic online, look at the reviews on google, yelp, Facebook and other social media.  Go to their website and check to see if they do curse removals or reunite lovers if so this is a scammer. Even if they have psychic abilities they are choosing to scam you for more money.  When the psychic insist on a face to face reading and do not read over the phone and are not set up to take major credit cards. This is a red flag.

A psychic scammer that insist on face to face is trying to infer things about you by the way you dress, your culture, race, age, and socioeconomic status.  They also rely on you being too talkative. If the psychic is asking you too many questions, it could be what they are doing is getting information from you and then feeding it right back to you.  Also, watch out for general psychic readings, this is where the psychic scammer will use general statements that apply to 95% of the people in the world. And they will hit the mark a least 50% of the time.  It is best to have your specific questions ready and not waste time on generals.

Watch out for psychic scammer who charges small fees or free service for a psychic reading. You are thinking you’re getting a deal, but the small fees you pay upfront or the free reading are just there to bait you into spending a lot more money. During the reading, they will tell you, someone, you love or you have a curse, dark spirits and negative energy around you or them, and that spiritual work needs to be done right away so this matter could be resolved. It’s all about scamming you for their long-term money gouging.

Don’t be a victim to psychic scams, pay attention to these phrases… they’re all red flags:

Someone has put a bad luck curse on you or someone you love

I can reunite you with your ex

I can connect you with your soul mate

Your ancestors have put a curse on you.

There is a curse on someone you love and something bad is going to happen to them.

There is dark energy or evil spirit around you

All of these are SCAMS. And if you continue to believe in this you will lose a lot of money, with NO RESULTS.
