Like any profession there are professional ethics that should be adhered to. A psychic is supposed to entertain you by telling you what they see, whether it’s the past, present or future.
The psychic is not suppose to give you stressful information like you have
incurable cancer and you will not live long. Imagine hearing that you are going to die soon. If the illness does not kill you then the stress from hearing you are going to die will. You will not be able to eat, sleep or concentrate on anything else but dying.
Once in a while I get a new client who has never had a reading and is curious about psychic readings, but is afraid I’ll tell him or her about death. I inform him or her that a genuine psychic will not tell you about death. It’s not only unethical to discuss health, but it’s morally wrong, because psychics are not doctors. Health questions should be directed to physicians and not psychics. I tell all my clients I do not do health.
I recall almost 30 years ago when I was just starting out as a psychic, I would read my co-workers free of charge. I had a regular client who I told her for six months her husband will cheat on her again. She checked his phone and email almost daily for six months and then finally she caught him making a date to meet the same woman from the past at her house for some hanky-panky. The next reading I gave her was concerning her mother. She wanted to know about her health. I saw my client being devastated, and I saw her experiencing a great loss and I saw it happening soon. I have not seen my client for three weeks after the last reading. The next time I saw her she whispered in my ear “remember our last reading, when I got home that night, I found my mother dead.” She had died in her sleep.
This client never got a reading from me again and she went around telling people I was a witch.
I knew she did not blame me for what happened to her mother, but it was rough hearing it from me. And it also did not make me feel good predicting her mother’s death.
If you are getting a reading from a real psychic do not ask about health. The psychic should refine from answering any questions pertaining to health, because you might not like what you hear and sometimes hearing about your health can make you sicker.
